Rensselaer County Homeownership 12 Public Hearing September 2023

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Rensselaer County Legislature will hold a public hearing to discuss the RENSSELAER COUNTY HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM 12 in accordance with 24 CFR 570.486 and New York State’s Citizen Participation Plan, a Public Hearing will be held in the Chambers of the Rensselaer County Legislature at the County Office Building, 99 Troy Road, East Greenbush, New York on Tuesday, September 11, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. to review the Rensselaer County Homeownership 12 program activities and receive citizens’ comments on the program’s administration. All citizens are urged to attend and participate in the public hearing. Those requiring physical or lingual assistance to attend should contact (518) 270-2914.
If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments or those in need of lingual translation, should contact Linda von der Heide at 518-270-2921 at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements.

Special sessions may also be convened at the request of the Chairperson.
The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.
We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
