Clarence C. Buhl, Jr.- Honor a Deceased Veteran Ceremony

CLARENCE CLAYTON BUHL, JR.
1930-1986

FAMILY HISTORY:
Clarence Clayton Buhl, Jr. was born on June 2, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Clarence Clayton Buhl, Sr. and Amy Louise VanBuren Buhl.  Clarence was the brother Derick, Gerard, Romaine, Jeffrey, Deborah and Vivian.

EDUCATION:

HISTORY:
Clarence enlisted in the United States Army on September 1, 1948 in Troy, New York.  He served as an Auto Mechanic.  Clarence was honorably discharged on June 17, 1952 in Fort McClellan, Alabama.

PERSONAL:
On June 27, 1968, Clarence married his wife, Rita G. Miaski Buhl at the Dutch Reformed Church in Wynantskill, New York.  Together they had three daughters, Denise, Rebecca and Roberta.  Clarence was the stepfather of William Loughlin and Rita Maguire; and grandfather of, Sean, Shannon, Jami, Jennifer, Charles, Riley, Grayson and Maxim.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Clarence worked for Montgomery Ward in Menands, New York as a stockman.  He also worked for the East Greenbush Central School District as a bus driver.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:
Clarence enjoyed football and physical fitness.

The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.

We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
