July 14, 2020 Rensselaer County Legislature Meeting
Please note that due to the COVID-19 concerns and restrictions the following will be implemented for the July 14, 2020 Rensselaer County Legislature Meeting:
To limit the amount of people in the building we are only going to allow the legislative body and legislative staff into the Public Hearing and Meeting. These limitations are for the safety and health of the county employees.
Public Hearing on the HVCC proposed Budget: HVCC administration will use Zoom to present the proposed budget and members of the public will be asked to join via Facebook live: https://www.facebook.com/RenssCoLeg
Comments on the HVCC Budget can be submitted to Clerk of Legislature at: jcharette@rensco.com prior to July 14, 2020 at 3 p.m.
Legislative Meeting: Members of the public and department heads will be asked to join using Facebook live: https://www.facebook.com/RenssCoLeg and submit comments on the agenda items to the Clerk of Legislature at: jcharette@rensco.com by July 14, 2020 3 p.m. A copy of the agenda can be found on the Rensselaer County Legislature’s website: https://www.rensselaercounty.org/events/
Special sessions may also be convened at the request of the Chairperson.
The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.
We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
