Edmond W. Miaski – Honor a Deceased Veteran Ceremony

EDMOND WALTER MIASKI
1937-2017
FAMILY HISTORY:
Edmond Walter Miaski was born on August 7, 1937 in East Greenbush, New York to the late Anson Walter Miaski and Helen (Levenworth) Miaski. Edmond was the brother of Lois Clifford, Rita Buhl and the late Vera Fowler, Herman Miaski and Sharon Evans.
EDUCATION:
Edmond attending East Greenbush Central Schools, graduating from Columbia High School in 1955.
HISTORY:
Edmond enlisted in the United States Army on June 26, 1962 serving as a Radio Operator. He was the proud recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter (Rifle). Edmond was honorably discharged on June 25, 1964 with the rank of Specialist Fourth Class.
PERSONAL:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Edmond was a mechanical draftsman and employed in historical restoration work with David Sanders Architecture. Edmond was also co-owner of Garfield Tree Farm in Stephentown.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:
Edmond was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Special sessions may also be convened at the request of the Chairperson.
The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.
We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
