NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, That pursuant to Laws of the State of New York and Local Law No. 3 of Rensselaer County for the year 1976 and Local Law No. 3 of the year 1994, a Public Hearing will be held in the Chambers of the Rensselaer County Legislature at the County Office Building, 99 Troy Road, East Greenbush, New York on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. to review the schedule of sewer rents established by the Commissioners of the Rensselaer County Sewer District No. 1 and Notice of a Right to Appeal.

Special sessions may also be convened at the request of the Chairperson.

The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.

We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
