SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE, pursuant to Rule No. 1C of the Rules of the Rensselaer County Legislature and in accordance with the NYS Open Meeting Law, Section 104, a special meeting of the Rensselaer County Legislature will be held on: Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the 2022-2025 Organization, pursuant to Section 2.05 of the Rensselaer County Charter and any other legislation filed in accordance with Rule 16C of the Rules of the Rensselaer County, in the Legislative Chambers of the Rensselaer County Office Building, 1600 7th Avenue, Troy, New York.
Meeting will be held in the Legislative Chambers located at 1600 Seventh Avenue, Troy, NY. For more information on the meeting, please contact the office at 518-270-2880.
Special sessions may also be convened at the request of the Chairperson.
The agenda for a regular session is available on the Thursday preceding the meeting. Members of the public have the opportunity to speak on issues contained in the agenda for one-half hour prior to the opening of the meeting.
We also have a Public Forum night; this is a great opportunity for the Public to make comments to the full Legislative Body. It is held on the Wednesday of the week preceding our regular monthly meeting in Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
