Nina serves on the Education, Health, Planning & Tourism and Veterans & Youth Committees, as well as Budget & Rules.

Nina is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a B.A. in Religion and Music and has a Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago. She moved to Troy in 2006, put down roots and chose to make it home. Her three children attended Troy Schools.

She has served on the Board of Directors for the ARC of Rensselaer County, CEO, Troy Area United Ministries, Friends of Chamber Music, and Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park. She is currently Co-President of the Board of Directors for Oakwood Community Center. Nina is, currently, the Assistant Director of Development at Unity House, a human services agency.

Nina will work for a better Rensselaer County and Troy—where people will be proud to live, work, learn, and have fun. If you have questions, concerns, or a vision for what would make our city and county better, Nina would love to hear from you.
