District Five – Towns of Hoosick, Berlin, Grafton, Stephentown and Petersburgh
Jeffery was appointed to the Rensselaer County Legislature as a representative of District 5 on March 16, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Hoosick Falls, Jeffery owns and operates the Wysocki Dairy Farm and has a long history of community and public service.
Jeffery has been the Deputy Supervisor of the Town of Hoosick since January 2011 and served as the Hoosick Chair of the Farmland Protection Committee that established the county Farmland Protection plan to safeguard open space and agricultural properties in the county.
As a legislator, he is focused on constituent services and keeping county costs at a minimum. He serves on the Legislature’s Agriculture, Local Government and Personnel Committees. Jeffrey is the Rensselaer County Legislative Representative to the Board of Directors of the Cornell Cooperative Extension.
He has worked as a volunteer for the Hoosick Falls football team for over 20 years and spent 10 years as a 4H leader.
Jeffery and his wife, Vicki, have three children and two grandchildren.
