District Five – Towns of Hoosick, Berlin, Grafton, Stephentown and Petersburgh

Bruce was elected to the Rensselaer County Legislature in 2017.

He serves on the Legislature’s Personnel and Local Government Committees.

A resident of Hoosick, Bruce has worked at a family run auto dealership for over 40 years.

Prior to running for the Legislature, Bruce served for 4 years on the Hoosick Town Board and 2 years on the Hoosick Zoning Board.

Bruce is active in many community organizations, including the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, which he was a board member of for 4 years.

Bruce coached Little League and travel ball for 13 years and Pee Wee football for 4 years.
