Rensselaer County Minority Advocates Against Systemic Racism

Members of the Rensselaer County Minority Legislature filed today a resolution to eradicate systemic racism and the harm that it causes. In addition, they are calling upon all elected colleagues and Americans to recognize that all people deserve equal protection under the law.

“We all must become advocates, and call for prompt action by government to eradicate racism,” said Deputy Minority Leader Cindy Doran.

“If not now, then when do we become involved?” questioned Minority Leader Peter Grimm. “Regardless of color and all differences it is time for change,” continued Grimm.

“We must work together in order to assure social justice for all” stated Mark Fleming.
