District Three – Towns of Brunswick, Pittstown and Schaghticoke
Todd was elected to the County Legislature in 2013
He is a lifelong resident of the Town of Pittstown and has owned and operated Tesman’s Service Station in Speigletown for over 30 years.
Todd is a common sense conservative that absolutely believes in individual responsibility, personal accountability, family values, telling the truth even when it’s difficult, and that our constitutionally protected rights are non-negotiable.
As a legislator, Todd uses his business experience, volunteer experience and common sense to help steer our county and local governments forward towards fiscal responsibility, stability and growth. He is a major proponent of ending state level unfunded mandates that are crippling our county, our small businesses and our public school system.
Todd sits on the Legislature’s Judiciary and Public Safety, Social Services, and Veteran’s and Youth Committees. He is also a member of the Rensselaer County Soil and Water Committee.
Prior to running for the Legislature, Todd was elected to three terms on the Hoosic Valley Board of Education. He spent 20 years as a board member, volunteer, coach and coordinator for all levels of HVAA boys baseball and 14 years as a volunteer, board member, Vice President, and coordinator of the Rensselaer County Snowriders.
Todd and his wife Penny are the proud parents of four children – Chelsea, Nicole, Zack, and Makenzie.
