Adopt-A-Roadside Program

Adopt-A-Roadside is a volunteer program whereby county roads are kept clean and free from litter.  It is sponsored by the Rensselaer County Legislature and managed by the RCEMC.  Typically, a designated group has responsibility for a specific stretch of road within the county.  Trash pickups are coordinated through the Highway Department.  The program is run seasonally, usually in the Spring and Fall.
