Judy Breselor is known for her work in community planning and working to create jobs and new business while protecting quality of life and natural resources. Judy is now putting her experience to work helping bring new jobs and opportunity to Rensselaer County while also helping protect neighborhoods and open space.
Judith Breselor, AICP is the current Executive Director of NYPF. She previously served as Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of Troy, Senior Planner for the Hudson River Greenway and Director of Planning and Development for the City of Rensselaer. She is the current Chair, of the Town of Sand Lake Zoning Board of Appeals and is a volunteer for the Town’s Planning Oversight Committee, the Town of Sand Lake’s Comprehensive Plan. Judy was a Past President of the NY Upstate Chapter of the American Planning Association, and is currently a member of the APA's Legislative Policy Committee. She is also both a board member and foundation member of the Commission on Economic Opportunity, and is a Commission Member representing Rensselaer County on the Capital District Regional Planning Commission. She holds a B.A. from the Rockefeller School of Public Policy and an MRP in City and Regional Planning from University of Albany and is a Certified Professional Planner (AICP) of the American Planning Association.
