Rob was elected in 2013 to serve as a County Legislator representing District 2 after working as a Councilman in his hometown of Poestenkill to avoid property taxes and maintain services rely on.
As a legislator and representative of East Greenbush, North Greenbush and Poestenkill, Rob will bring years of valuable private sector experience in infrastructure improvements and commercial and capital projects that will improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
Robís family operates Kingsley Arms Construction providing general contracting, excavation and maintenance related services throughout upstate New York. With Kingsley Arms, Rob has worked on construction and public works projects of all sizes and scales throughout the Northeast.
That private sector experience has guided Rob throughout his 8 years of service on the Poestenkill Town Board. During that time, the town has avoided property tax increases each of the past several years.
The experience and understanding of business Rob possesses will help the county continue job creation and economic development efforts. The county recently saw major success with the expansion of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in East Greenbush, creating 300 jobs, and other economic development projects.
Active in community organizations, including the Poestenkill Business Association, Rob and his wife Diane are parents of a son and a daughter.
